I have an 18 month old Welsh Colllie x Poodle called Indiana. She brings so much joy to our lives but we were experiencing a couple of issues that we were at a loss to solve. We couldn’t stop her jumping up and it was scaring my young nieces to the point she had to be kept away and she was also nipping when doing agility training, something we all love. I was at such a low point that I decided to try and get some specialist help. I did a lot of research on the internet and really liked the look and sound of Laura, I messaged and she arranged a call the following day. We had a chat and she immediately reassured me that I didn’t have to lose out on all the things I love doing with her. We arranged an appointment for the whole family a few days later. After a very short time she had worked out what the issue was, Indiana is very highly strung so we had to completely change how we were training her. Laura worked with us until we were all comfortable with what we needed to do. We could see a difference at the end of the session and Laura gave us the tools to work on some other issues too. We sat down and agreed our approach a she recommended and started on the training immediately. I’m so pleased to say that she is getting so much better at not jumping up which has enabled me to work with the younger children to get them confident around her. She is also doing much better at agility, no nipping or reacting to our other dog so everyone is enjoying it much more. I would highly recommend Laura if you’re having any issues with your dog.

What a stroke of luck this particular Google search was! I had (wrongly) assumed all training classes were groups and that anything 1:1 would be at a highly inflated price. How wrong I was. Laura not only offers sensible pricing AND 1:1 training; but she also comes to you! I wanted support with the basics for my lab puppy of 4 months old. Laura quickly taught me that it wasn't my pup that needed training, it was me! I opted for the block booking sessions but that did not mean that Laura wasn't always flexible in regards to days and times; which was absolutely essential in view of my career. Another huge bonus was that I could email, call, text, video or voice note Laura at any time and she would support me as quickly as possible. You really couldn't ask for more; somethings are meant to be and Lola and I were definitely meant to find Laura ❤️
We booked 4 sessions with Laura when our new puppy came home to help us with the basics of training. Laura gave us some great pointers in how to approach basic things like mouthing, chewing furniture, and settling of a nighttime, as well as some more advanced issues like starting to train recall and lead walking. We learnt the importance of tone of voice and body language, and how to correctly time reward and recognition to encourage future good behaviour. The fact that Laura could come to our home and train in our own environment was invaluable, and always being on hand to answer questions virtually between sessions was great. Laura has a great understanding of puppies behaviour, and is able to support you in building a strong relationship with your new pup. Highly recommend working with her!
Laura has been a fantastic trainer. We are first time dog owners and she has helped us to understand our dog and given us easy to follow guidance on training. Laura has always been happy to help with any challenges we were facing. Our dog has also enjoyed the sessions! We have found Laura to be calm and friendly, and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer.
Laura has helped us immensely with training Murray our yellow lab. He's now 9 months and doing well. Murray instantly warmed to Laura who was wonderful with him (and she was great with us too!).
I just wanted to share with anyone that was hesitating if dog trainer was what they needed or if Laura was the right person - the answer is yes you do and go for it! We contacted Laura when we got our new puppy as felt completely overwhelmed. Laura was able to advise us on SO many things from toilet training, puppy biting, sleeping through without crying, crate or no crate and most importantly how best to work with our family with clear boundaries and foundations to work together for training. We've had 3 sessions so far and each one has been vital to us fully understanding how to work with our puppy but also to make it enjoyable. Looking forward to booking our next session which is all about socialising behaviours and walking on/off lead. I whole heartedly recommend Laura not only is she a great person, easy to communicate, clear and concise about what she's sharing the direction but she really knows her dogs/puppies and was such a bright guiding light in our family in a time we needed it! Laura has been fantastic with our vizsla pup! She has a very approachable demeanour and no question or worry bothers her she goes above and beyond. I particularly like the fact Laura makes training accessible to your situation for example we have children and she suggested games to help with training involving them. Cannot recommend or thank Laura enough our V boy is a different pup!
Laura was great when she came to help our little 5 month dash Bonnie. Bonnie had bad seperation anxiety and as we implement what Laura has taught us she is slowly getting better and better! It's a lot less stressful once someone shows you the way!
Laura was brilliant helping me socialise my 13 week old puppy for the first time, especially as he ran off making a screaming noise when some big dogs came to say hello to him 😄 without Laura I would definitely of panicked for no reason. I was also taught some great recall tips and lead work all in an hour! Laura invited me to call her if I need any advice which really goes above and beyond and proves that not only is she professional but truly cares too. Thank you so much for your help Laura x
Laura has helped us tremendously with our excitable little westie pup Rosie. Laura started training Rosie at 11 weeks. Rosie can now sit, stay, has re call on a walk, walks to heal, has good dog obedience, doesn't bark at anything and everything on a walk and is a lovely sociable dog in just 6 sessions! Laura's guidance has been amazing and she was always available should we need her in between sessions. We would not hesitate to recommend Laura to others.
Laura has helped us with our cocker spaniel pulling on the lead - she showed us some great techniques which have helped loads. she's absolutely lovely - so friendly and we felt we could ask her anything with no judgement
I would highly recommend Laura to anyone who needs a bit of help training their pup. She knows exactly what she's talking about without over complicating instructions or tasks. Laura has been so supportive and helpful with the training of our Pup, and makes you feel so at ease. Being my first time owning a doggy I was completely new to it all, not only does Laura share the skills needed to succeed with training but she explains why we are doing certain tasks in training so it all makes perfect sense. Even after our course of training had finished Laura continues to check in with us to see how we are all getting on. Top trainer!🐶
When your dog trainer is on the end of the phone any time of day you know you’ve got a good one! We only met Laura on Monday after a recommendation from another friend and she’s amazing. She’s incredibly knowledgable, funny and supportive - everything you need from a trainer! We experienced a wee set back with the night time routine on Wednesday night with our pup and after a really helpful phone call from Laura last night, offering some great advice and words of reassurance we had a better experience and hopefully back into routine. I would highly recommend her and it’s only week 1! 😎
Laura is currently helping us train out GSD Tahoe. After three sessions we are already seeing a massive improvement in his recall, and walking to heel. Laura is very knowledgable and more than willing to share her expertise. Tahoe is our fifth GSD but we as owners are still learning as well as Tahoe. 10 out of 10 to Laura we have no hesitation in recommending Laura a true professional in her field. Jeffrey Maund

Laura provides advice from puppy to adult age. She works with a variety of issues. It’s fantastic! For us, Laura is currently helping our dog sleep at night outside of our bedroom. Laura outlines the process and we are currently in the midst of it. So far, so good. Thank you, Laura!

Absolutely ! Laura came over to my folks to help introduce my dog chip to my parents new puppy Murphy. She was reassuring gave us brilliant advice and lots tips and skills for after she left. Having her their while doing some of the training has definitely helped us know we were doing it right. So very pleased we got in touch with Laura. she is extremely knowledgeable and talked us through things we needed help with in a way that all of a sudden made so much sense! We were then able to use her advise effectively. Absolutely 5*, really recommend Laura for any dog training.
We were lucky to have Laura look after our 3 dogs in January for two weeks. Previously we have used kennels for them but having recently moved to the Bournemouth area we didn't know or like the kennels within a wide radius and settled on one near Bristol. Then we saw Laura's website and saw that she did house/dog sitting. This was a much better option for us as it meant our dogs would be in their own environment whilst we were away which would lessen the stress to them. We arranged a meeting with Laura and was immediately impressed with her and her requirement for as much information about the dogs and their routines and requirements, nothing appeared to be too much trouble, and our dogs liked her as well. Laura arrived promptly at the time agreed for our departure and went over everything regarding the dogs before we left. We can honestly say that it was the only time when we have ever left the dogs anywhere that we were not concerned or upset about it, we were totally relaxed and confident that Laura was there to look after them. Whilst we were away we got constant updates and photos of them via Whatsapp showing us how happy they were, knowing this allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday more than we may have done had they been in kennels. When we arrived back we were greeted by 3 very happy dogs and Laura had left the house immaculate and had even washed the bedding she had used. We would have no hesitation in recommending Laura to anyone and she will be back again with us in September. Thank you Laura for looking after them so well and being such a nice caring person.
Absolutely recommend. Contacted Laura to help with stopping our Dogue de Bordeaux from jumping up strangers. got some useful tips which we will definitely be putting into practice. Laura certainly knows her stuff and provided an incredibly large amount of information in a short time. Now to teach all 3 dogs and us.
We had Laura do a home visit and such an amazing trainer. within 4 days of carrying on what she has said the turn around in behaviour and healing when walking is brilliant 100% would recommend this women thank you.
I contacted Laura after becoming exasperated with way the training with my puppy was going elsewhere. She had been branded a thug and hormonal. After the 1st session with Laura both myself and my 4 pawed friend were much calmer and more in tune together. I can highly recommend Laura - thank you.
We took the recall class and it was in several locations which really helped. Our dog Charlie is now fully able to do recall and is like a new dog. Laura was lovely and really easy to get on with. I would definitely recommend go dog school to others it is really worth it.
We cannot thank Laura enough for helping us with Barney(7 yrs old) and Gibson(14 yrs old). She has looked after them so well in our home twice now. The most recent time our flight was cancelled and she willingly stayed with our boys an additional 4 days (until we could get a flight home!) Laura met me today at Avon beach to assess my dog who has recall 'issues'. Laura was so lovely and assured me that copper was fully capable to being allowed off lead when out on walks. Laura was able to advise me on how to continue the recall training with copper. I can't wait to take him out again to put into practice all I learnt in just one hour!
